I&#039;ve been thinking about the local tech industry a lot lately and there are a few things bothering me about it too:

1) There&#039;s a handful of &quot;social media&quot; peeps that hang out on twitter all day, voicing opinion about everything and anything and somehow they&#039;ve become some kind of an tech authority - it&#039;s ridiculous. 

2) Local peeps tend to only focus locally

3) Cape Town is very much about pride

4) Cliques
