I don't mind the ease of the RT feature, but I don't like that: 1) Auto RTs don't show up in MY timeline, so I have to routinely check to see who's retweeted me. Which is weirdly self-focused & I don't like doing it. 2) Seeing WHO retweeted isn't available on Echofon - which is my tweeting program of choice. 3) Doesn't allow me to attach my name to the RT, which, to be honest, is a big part of retweeting. Yes, you want to share the info, but you also want to share your own twitter handle - this is one way for other people with similar interests find you on twitter! Agreed! I don’t mind the ease of the RT feature, but I don’t like that:
