		<description>Definitely agree on the privacy thing.  Reply All can be damaging, but not as bad as when someone intends to send a DM on Twitter and it turns into a public tweet instead...</description>

Something email has that the others lack is a measure of privacy. I know it&#039;s possible send private messages on the social platforms, but it&#039;s kind of like hitting the Lunch/Launch button. Too many of my FB contacts have accidentally published private information to walls. A friend of mine didn&#039;t understand the platform and published embarrassing responses to her friend’s wall. Her face turned grey when we explained how it worked.

This is not to say that people haven&#039;t made horrific public mistakes with email, but in my opinion, it is less susceptible to that particular danger than the social platforms.</description>
